Due to a lifelong immersion in his family’s business,  Josh is closely affiliated with an extensive array of gem cutters throughout the world.   He can therefore, source any and all types of colored gems that you may be interested in acquiring.  Ranging from traditional to rare gems and from classic cuts to the avant-garde, Josh has the extensive network to offer his clients a wide selection of goods at extremely competitive prices.

DIAMONDS

Josh’s long time affiliation with sight holders and diamond brokers enables him to provide his clients with the an extensive selection of highest quality diamonds at extraordinary prices.  Each diamond is hand selected to ensure it meets the individual’s criteria in size, quality, and price.  Josh will take the mystery out of diamond buying, never relying on a certificate, he believes “you must have your eyes on that stone to know it’s true beauty and quality.”   Josh will take the time to share industry level knowledge and expertise to elevate your insight on “how to buy a diamond…”   also offer a help educate you on what you are buying, way beyond the 4c’s.  Our diamond selection is always guaranteed to be conflict-free, ethically sourced and certified by GIA.

CUSTOM DESIGN

Helmich Luxury Group specializes in custom orders and custom service.   Custom orders make a large portion of our business. Engagement rings, wedding bands, bracelets, pendants… anything you can dream envision we can make a reality.  Josh orchestrates each custom order from selecting the stone, diamond, mineral or colored gemstone, to the design, and fabrication of the piece to ensure the highest quality and excellence in workmanship.

HOW IT WORKS

Whether you are thinking of getting engaged, redesigning an heirloom piece, celebrating an anniversary, or purchasing a gift for yourself, the process of designing a custom piece can be overwhelming!   You have an idea or concept but are not sure how to translate those into a description or a design.  You may not be sure what type of metal or gemstones will work best in bringing your ideas to reality.  For instance, you may want a blue stone but you’re not sure what your options are?  Will your design concepts work well or even work at all?  All of these questions and more will be addressed in your first consultation with Josh, personally or via phone or video.

DESIGN PHASE

 Once you have selected your diamond or gemstone, you will enter the designing phase.   Josh will begin with a very detailed CAD rendering for the client to view and have a virtual example of the design concept.   A 3D printed model can be produced to ensure the look is exactly what you had envisioned if you choose as well.

 Once the design is finalized the production will begin.  With over 20 years of expertise in fine jewelry production, Josh remains intricately involved in each step of the process from casting, selecting metal alloys, finishing and setting techniques and styles.
